A Race around Green Island, Manly QLD for all "Off The Beach" classes including windsurfers on Sunday 18th September 2016.
Bart's Bash is a global sailing race taking place at hundreds of venues, with thousands of sailors in hundreds of different classes of boat around the world on the weekend 17th & 18th September. Put simply it's the day the world goes sailing!
It's a day the sailing community remembers Andrew 'Bart' Simpson, a double Olympic medallist who tragically lost his life whilst training for the Americas cup in 2013. Bart's Bash is an annual fundraising and participation campaign promoted by the Andrew Simpson Sailing Foundation (ASSF).

Excellent conditions for Bart's Bash. Would be great to see more boards supporting the event next year, it was loads of fun and so good to see the windsurfers posting quick times and multiple rankings in the top 10!
2.3 nautical mile course, two laps, lots of wind and times recorded over each downwind leg (2.3NM).
