Hi all,
Just a quick message to introduce myself.
I am trying to get back into what was once my favorite past time (windsurfing). After moving around for work and to many other things getting in my way, I have been off the board for years. But I am very keen to change that.
I am now living near sandgate Brisbane, so intend to make that my base for windsurfing.
Looking forward to meeting fellow sailors, and hopefully make some new friends.
I feel like I need to learn from scratch again. But am up for the challenge.
My current kit is a 137l short(ish) board with a 6.5m sail (held together with tape).
Should be good enough to get me back into it before I start looking to get some more gear.

See you out there.

Stephen

There are a few people getting into/back into Windsurfing in Brisbane so you won't be alone. There are a few beginners/intermediates that sail at Manly/Wellington Point quite regularly if you ever want to head down there

Hi evilC,

Yeah a few years ago I lived in Norman Park so used to head down to Manly/ Wellington point often. Bit of a drive for me now. Keen to stay more on the North side now, but thats not to say I wont head down there from time to time.

Am looking for more suggestions for good places to go on the North side. Paddles, I know you have given me a few and as soon as you are all head up will have to head out.

Cheers
