HI everyone!
looking for a sail on Friday..lots of green arrows and I have not been to VP yet...Does it sail ok in SE'rs?
With the 20-25kt forecast, it was hard to get a carpark! But as it just didn't happen, turnned into a talkfest. Eventually 3 of us went out for a floaty session, but some wind came in and got a few runs before running out of water. A few dugongs around, has been for a while now. Is it the mating season??? (not that I'm an old sailor from way back.......)
We had the same at Carolena St. Not enough wind. It looks like they got some reasonable wind at Wello
the key for VP is to have green arrows at banana bank.
today has a good feel about it. wind looks to be picking up a little. if it continues i'll head down otherwise plenty of other things to do.
We had gentle but consistent ESE at Manly, hardly the 20knts that was forecast, but we rigged big and had long runs out to D'Arcy light and back. Great afternoon.
Cool vid - thanks for posting. Looks like you guys were enjoying yourselves.
VP was a bit up and down, ok one minute then no good the next. Had to look for the gusts - But still good to be on the water![]()
Cheers
Hey Glynn, Paul (El_Dude) and Tom (me) from Manly. Think I met you at Wello once last winter when I was just starting out.
