Nice old video. Thanks.

Good to see so many out back then, the 80's were the hay-day of windsurfing and what a great variety of makes as well, Tyronsea, F2, Bombora, etc.

Not a seat harness in sight!!

Ah, memories.....

My first impressions were "why are they going so slow". The gear today is so much quicker and better all-round. Did you also notice how tight and slow the gybes were? Not a planing gybe to be seen. Whilst the 80s were sailboarding's heyday, the sport is more enjoyable and diverse today.

i bet they were all thinking how great the gear was.....imagine what we may think of our current gear in 30 years from now.
