24/7 Liability Insurance through your Club

Club members please note:
The insurance that you get through your club has expired at the end of June.

If you want to be covered again for this financial year, you will need to renew your membership with your Windsurfing Club now.

The clubs which are able to provide you with insurance cover are

Bayside Sailboard Club
Windwanderers
Brisbane Windsurfing Club
Queensland Freewave associations
Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron
Lake Cootharaba Sailing Club

You can contact your preferred club for more information on how to join or renew.

Thanks for the reminder, I have renewed my membership. I was out of town and not able to attend the AGM. Will you be posting minutes or notes from the AGM on the Bayside website?

Hi John,

Sorry for the late response and thanks for renewing your membership.

Basically the AGM was a short but sweet meeting where we elected a new committee and took on board any points & suggestions made.

The main points raised were:

- Getting more racing happening by locking in a calendar before the seasons starts
- Sharing the load across more people so we are not relying on a few individuals
- Revisiting a GPS club competition
- Developing the social side and being more inclusive

The newly elected committee are getting together to have a proper discussion around these points and will put an announcement up on the Bayside Website together with a post on this Forum.
