hey! i'm interested to have a crack at foil racing... very experienced wave sailor and slalom sailor but never foiled. does it have to be IQ foil or can it be any combo of foiling gear? also recommended set-up for 93kg guy?
I was on Waterloo Bay last Wednesday and noticed that you had mixed fleet foil racing with IQs and race wing foils. Will this carry over into the Saturday racing?

Any combo but please note that we can race in light wind too so you would need a big front wing if you're 93kg.
Feel free to come and have a chat on Sunday if you have time but dont feel like racing yet.
Briefing onshore is at 12:30pm and forst start at 1:30pm.

Yes. Windfoiling and Wingfoiling.
Last year, we had separate start for each fleet.
This will be on Sunday though.

With the most recent update to the RQYS Sailing Program, a couple of adjustments have been made to the 2026 schedule that we'd like to bring to your attention.
? Sunday 15 February 2026 - Previously listed as tentative, this date is now confirmed as a racing day.
?? Final Race Day Change - Due to resource management considerations, the final day of racing has been moved from 8 March to 22 March 2026.
