in yamba at the moment and forcast looks like a nice ne'er tomorrow. anyone down this way going to sail at woolgoolga? I was thinking of checking out flat rock?
Try having a blast on the river at Yamba or in the waves at green Pt.
You ^*#@.... I love sailing & surfing in Yamba![]()
Hey swoosh, me and Wormy (Jeff) will be sailing Park Beach at Coffs (creek mouth) tomorrow most probably (about 30mins south of Flat Rock)
P.s. It was good there today (Coffs Creek that is), sorta like Flat Rock too.
4 windsurfers and 3 kiters out, most packed i've ever seen it
Who was the windsurfer much further upwind at Park Beach? Mabbott? Tim Williams? Was that you?
yeh spent today blasting around yamba on the big gear. was a little too light to hit the surf.
not sure if i will make woolgoolga tomorrow, but its definately on the todo list for between now and NYE. forcast is looking the goods!
dism: pretty keen to hit the surf so dunno if i will make it all the way down to coffs, but i'll make sure to call in to park beach if i do!
was on the 5.2 and 94l, a bit light to start but filled in.
Will be around all week, so give ma call
PMed ya
Sorry not me at Coffs but I highly recommend Woolgoolga in any NE. You can access the launch from Hearns Creek Rd just south of the town. The last two times i have sailed waves DTL - you have to keep the power on in the bottom turn and really open out the clew in the cutback to keep up speed as the small waves don't have a lot of push. It's actually even better in a SE on the north side of Flat Top - check out the YuoTube footage
I thought Coffs was a little onshore in a NE?
cheers
