The southerly has just smashed through Collaroy with some decent gusts. Way ahead of the forecast time but its dark!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bummer about today but I had an awesome arvo doing some SUP instruction with my daughter and we had a blast. Thanks to WsNSnow for the Fanatic 9'2". We paddled for an hour or so and definitely a new convert, absolutely loved it!!!!!!
Really happy, mastered starts, turning, falling in and stance.

Hi Grant, where did you paddle!

I spent a couple hours cruiing the the lake, trying to get my stroke right, then a little at Longreef, but it was pretty flat!

Hey Des, back at work after a course for 2 days. We went out from Jammo park then just all over the place. Around the islands, stopped for a swim here and there, fell off, laughed etc. It was around 2-4 I think.
Its a great place to get people into it as its shallow in lots of places and very flat.
Saw a few other paddlers but from a distance.

I nearly eded up going to Jammo but opted for the Sports Centre end of the lake which is allways a lot quiter.

I was getting very confident with my paddling in the flat water, but that all went put the window as soon as hit the surf.
