I took a PD (Personal Development) day just to get out. It was awesome and lost of others hit spots at Primbee and Budgewoi for some speed sailing.
Rest of the week looks pretty good too.

Windsurfing got a mention on the Seven News tonight - showed somebody blasting on a Black/Yellow KA along the runway - and a brief couple of words from a windsurfer (sorry it was short and I didn't recognised the melon).

They showed the same story down here in Tassie - national fame and glory for whoever it was.

My son reg just 14yo was out at primbee this morning setting a cracking pace with a 4.6 with the wind reaching 40 knots and others looking on while waiting for the wind to ease. Shortly after he blew up in a jybe and while attempting to Beach start again he put his head through his sail and had to walk back to the shore which totally wore him out. He can now say that he has been out in 40 knots and has gained much respect from the local crowd.

Your son got courage yesterday l saw seasoned sailors scratching their heads on whether to go out in such powerful winds l must admit down at botany it was at times a bit much.l never got out because it was starting to die off.

Tuesday and Wednesday were great at La Perouse. Did get quite a handful early afternoon when it averaged 35 knots for a while. I didn't realise that my hands were bleeding from broken blisters until I came ashore.

Took 1/2 day off. Spent an hour and a half at peel st Toukley, then moved over to canton beach Toukley and had an absolute ball on a 4.5 and a fibreglass, yep fibreglass 270 WIND WARRIOR board. It was absolutely awesome. Looking forward to sunday at Canton. Flat to start with, bump & jump, then flat to turn around and come back. Nothing better than that.
