Any thought on what works best in a Northerly?

I have sailed Dolls Point on a low tied in a 40 knt Northerly. Not much swell but massive chop that breaks on the sand bar out front of the Point.

manly, somewhere btwn n steyne and volleyball nets.

looking a bit NNW. CH 9 reckons 100 km/h...doubt it.

not much surf though

Wanda is perfectly sailable in a true northerly but there is no surf and also forcast to be more NNW I think.
