I think there's a total of 4 local sailors here. But yes, there will be a few out on Friday. I'll be out at the goal between 10 and 2 pm- work will then ruin the rest of the day for me.. There's a few holiday makers here with sail boards, so I'm sure you won't be alone. Sadly not much swell atm, but I'm sure there will be some peaks and hills to jump and gybe on come Friday. Good low tide at midday too, so plenty of shallow flats to race across.

I'll be riding (crashing) on a 101 lt JP FSW with a red Gaastra or red Ezzy sail, say g'day if ya see me.

Cheers mate.

Hi John,

good to meet you today. Hope you get some decent wind as you head up the coast. Cool car you have.

I had a great sail today. It was quite challenging as I have not sailed in waves or swell for quite a while. However I really enjoyed it, even falling off way out at sea and spending time getting going again.

Karl.

Were you at the gaol Karl? I didn't see you there, unless you arrived after I left (1 pm). Great day, wind and swell combo. I had a ball, best down the line wave sailing I think I've had. Still buzzing!

Hi John, was good to meet ya mate. Was cool sailing with someone that loves the waves as much as I do. I watched ya for a while on your 6.2 racing in on the lefts. I got all amped but had to go to bloody work... Anyway fun wave sesh, I'm still amped and hanging for more! Give me a yell next trip down this way.

Cheers

Hi Phil,
yes I sailed there yesterday. I think I saw you on a Gaastra sail near the point. It was not the best of sails for me as I fell off a few times and had trouble getting going again. I've become soft sailing on flat water, also sailing at Canton Beach where its easy to get going after falling off.

Had a great sail, south west rocks is a really beautiful place, Phil you are so lucky to have a home spot like that.
Wind was pumping when i got back to nambucca, shame i was bit spent, the river mouth looked awsome!!!
Till next time, nice to meet Phil and Karl, and I think Tom??

Hi all,
I just arrived in SWR tonight. (gradually heading back down the coast to chilly Vic)

Not sure what the wind has in store for tomorrow, but keen to give it ago especially if any others are out.

If there's no wind, then I'll be looking for some small waves to sup or give the kids a surf on.

Let me know what you are expecting. Any advice appreciated.

Hey Bondy,

Did you get out? Not much wind, only a light nor-easter today (8-12 knots I guess), but a bit of fun for me trying to catch the micro waves and sort out tacks and slo-mo gybes. Another fellow, Tom, was out also, cruising around with the big gear. Tomorrow (Thrus) looks like it should be fine in the arvo.

Cheers.

No, didn't get out.
Had a look at Trial bay in the morning. No wind or swell, but the kids had a nice swim.
We have moved south to Forster now so hoping for a sup at Boomerang beach before driving on to Port Stephens.

SWR is a beautiful place and I'm sure I'll be back sometime again to stay longer.
