It looks pretty green doesn't it?
I can't remember the last time we've got green arrows for more than two days in a row, hopefully they stay green

I haven't sailed for over a month so I wasn't going to jinx it. All fingers crossed it hangs in for the long weekend.

Have the next 3 days off so hopefully will get some more fitness for the upcoming maui trip.

Wow that was an awesome westerly today.
Very consistant wind with only +- 5 knot gusts / holes.
Probably one of the nicest westerlys ive had in sydney for a long time.

Never dropped off the plane or got over powered on a 84 lt board with 5.3 sail.

Bit cold tho :(

At the current temperatures it has to blow to the point where I'm maxed on my 4.2. Otherwise I may as well move back to Europe.

Bring back summer...

We had 38 knot gusts down in the gong. What an awesome day. Two down two to go

Maybe if you could add 10 to each max and min, then I'd be happy

If anyone is going to be out at La Perouse this afternoon, keep an eye out for a container ship leaving at around 2:30pm-3pm. I'm going for a little joy ride on it with the pilots and am taking my camera with 200mm lens. I will try and get some photos of you guys sailing.

Cheers

Jon

I got to LP at 3pm so must have just missed the boat, as it were. Could have been there earlier if I'd seen your post at lunchtime Laff - bugger. Are you sailing tomorrow btw? I've just joined your GPS team so it would be good to post a session...

Yep, got a couple of pics, but I think I need a telephoto lens, as they are pretty small unfortunately.

Would love to get out today, but unfortunately I have a very busy Friday.

Pity about the b rain.. Not much point in going down until it clears a bit - you cant see and its generally all over the place gust wise..

After not having a sail for over 6 weeks I've managed two days in a row, (Saturday and Sunday) . I've found windsurfing muscles I forgot I had!

Certainly was bumpy yesterday at Kyeemah, towards the end of the sesion I found my that my rig didn't feel quite right (thought I was just getting knackered), but when I de- rigged I found that my mast track had slid all the way forward. All that poundig through the chop loosened things up.

I take my hat off to the guys using big free ride gear yesterday, it would of been a wild ride. I had my 78L board and could have gone smaller. In fact a smaller fin would have been nice....anyone have a 21/22 cm PB wave fin they want to get rid off?

Fingers crossed that it clears up a little for another sesion today!
