the five minutes a night i watch summer bay really pisses me off,its ALLWAYS windy there.[never see mouch action on the water though]

Thats cause its all the bull**** hot air from the crap show[}:)]

Palmy has its moments, especially in a NW as its about the only place on the northside thats sailable. decent sea breezes in summer too up under the headland.

about 20 years or so ago there use to be some windsurfing footage in the opening credits.

Back in the '90s, I was on the opening titles. Yellow North/Ezzy wave 6m. I had a vhs of it but it's long gone...

Noreasters used to be great up there. I never had a problem with the shallow mud. Maybe the currents have changed? It always used to get stronger off the south western point of Barrenjoey. Sometimes we used to slog out on semi sinkers then plane around in the gusts until the NE filled in. Then pop your gear on your head and head over for an afternoon in the surf.
