excuse my ignorance but curious to spots to sail..had a spin around this eve and couldnt see anyone out. good few out kiting at narabeen, do people sail from there??so where would most sail in a ne wind. looking for good wave sailing spots. i know of longreef in a south or se just curious of other spots for other wind direction and do many sail them. cheers
Hi Rhino, I'm not sailing off beaches anymore. I don't have the skill, confidence or fitness to have a good time out there anymore. If I get enough time on flatter water and build up again I'll give it a go again as I used to enjoy wavesailing a lot.
In regards to people sailing off north Sydney beaches now in a north easter, the only place I've seen windsurfers sailing off a beach was at Palm Beach.
Hi, i have been sailing Narabeen quite alot recently as im working just around the corner. I know of two parks, the first about halfway works well with w in it and the other park which is right down the bottom end N, NE but pretty short runs lots of weeds too. Next time im there i will get the names for you
Speaking of the lake, what are your thoughts of it? Did you go sailing there today, was it windy? I went up to Brisbane Water and there was bugger all wind where I was, probably around 5 knots. Very disappointed.
