northeasters in winter

Is it too early to start getting my gear/kit together for next thursdays forecast northeaster. Weather charts look good for it.We ( Illawarra ) had some good northeasters in August a few years back , does any one else remember that. Im pretty sure that year we had an awesome summer

I'm glad you posted this, as i was just thinking the same thing.
Dust off my Formula gear and keep fingers crossed for a nice NE sail tomorrow afternoon down at Botany Bay.

unfortunately, looks like another wet summer for the east coast, like last summer, not a great deal of seabreezes but the ones that did come through were memorable

info here saying neutral conditions ahead which is neither el nino or la nina.
