So True, with the lack of wind lately, I'm yet to notice if I've left anything back at Lake George

Sorry Moby was crap today only a 6.6 day with glassy downwind runs for a Kay or so,
Actually Moby there is still 6 motel units on the edge of the big lake where the old lake George resort was back in the nineties it's straight across from where we where in the dunes in the rav, have a look around on google earth they still can be seen but the rest of the park has been covers by dunes, the place was bought by the marahishe Indians mob in the 2000s and went to rack and ruin.

only looking on again tmro

Still no one has contacted me for this mast.

How long do you have to wait until it's legally yours?
Should you hand it over to a police station otherwise it would be considered theft?
Any windsurfing lawyers know the answer?

I found a carbon SUP paddle the Xmas before last. I posted here on SB about it and even left it at Windsurfnsnow for a couple of weeks to see if the owner claimed it. Asked local police what to do and was informed if no one reported it then not much they can do.
I feel for the owner but quite happy to use it on my 14' race SUP
I reckon as long as you try and do the right thing then that's the main point.
Craig is doing that.

Funny how people lose stuff, and somehow do not miss it.

I had some friends over for a BBQ a while ago. The next day, there was a large esky left at my house, still half full of beer. I rang all of my friends, and each of them insisted it was not theirs. A few months later, and they all still reckon they have not lost an esky. Weird!

The person who left behind the mast could not be a locol & possibly a interstater or traveller it is very good of you to let whoever left it put it up on this forum but however if it is not redeemed you should of course keep it or donate to a windsurfing school.
