Had my first sail today in pretty windy conditions out of pants sailing kurnell was the spot shame it was..nt a incoming tide try my new meanline fin worked good but needed smaller board the north 6 meter was just right apart from more d.hall looking forward tomorro sat thay saying 30 or more hope I don't break any thing well time to go hope to see more locals down there ????
kurnell has the most consistant sea breeze in Botany but can get a bit choppy when the wind really starts nuking.
Not too many ppl go thre tho cause its a long drive unless you coming from sutherland shire area. Sadly on weekends it gets flooded with tea baggers and you condtantly have to dodge the newbs body dragging down the beach.
a lot of ppl will be at Kyemagh on Sat for the slalom racing so should be a fun day.

Maybe check out Dolls Point or Kyeemagh right up near the airport. That's where pretty much all of the 'flatwater' sailors will be as Roar said. Negligible chop & consistent NE/NNE.
Wanda if you want some waves. The surf will be small there today I imagine or check out the webcam on coastalwatch.
Sailed kyeemagh today good wind but dyed of a bit then it returned which was good watched the racer's sail l think a guy called remy sailed good he also had pretty good gear it's been an epic day
