Wed looking like a strong westerly with low tides in early morning and late afternoon.
Does the tides affect the lake down there much where you can sail without bottoming out?
Have seen some of leo;s posts but some of it looks scarily shallow

You can pick your depth if you don't like super shallow water. Launch from Primbee and walk out until you think it's deep enough - then stay about that distance from the eastern shore. Check every now and then that the depth is still OK for you. But there are no sudden changes that I've found. The height of the chop is a good indicator, if it's too smooth it's probably because it's too shallow.
You'll need a weed fin. I use a large 32 cm weedie, I call it quits on water depth way before it bottoms out.
There's a bit of tide action but it just means you have to walk a bit further. You can always find acres of flattish water at least knee deep and at least a nautical mile long to sail in a westerly.
Tomorrow looking good, bring your weedy and get amongst it, nothing like 1ft deep butter smooth water 
As Ian says though you can pick your depth, but the pull of the smooth water is enticing
