Best to wear some thongs or sandles when walking down there and take it one deliberate step at a time.

Perhaps we could ask the council to pour some sand over the wood slats. Where the sand is heaping up at the end of the path its much more walkable. Sand could be the cheapest way to make the path easier to walk on and to retain the slats.

Another option would be to cover the slats with the covering they use on the southern path.

Kyeemagh is a great place for flat water sailing.

Between that and the sharp aluminum bars in the fence, getting to the beach definitely is a challenge. I've always assumed they were to do it like the southern path, but somebody just forgot to do it / check it was done.

that's why I never use that path, but the other one to the right. You end up on the southern end , but can always windsurf to the top end if you like it better.

Seriously, who was the genius that decided 2 super long paths to each end of the beach was a good idea?
A direct 20 meter path straight ahead have been cheaper to construct and "here's the kicker" convenient.

I'm sure it all had something to do with preventing people from rolling stuff down the beach (jetski trailers for instance). Probably a bit of keeping the sand from being blown away by the wind too?
And in a NE, because of the wind angle, i use the first path to get to the beach and the second one to come back. Seems to work better in term of wind angle to keep the sail aligned with the path.
