Pretty good chance Glovey and I will be in.
Pure glass and about 2 foot on the sets today.
What time you heading up Morey ?
Lyndon and I will be there, probably from late morning.
Bring your storm sail!
I was tempted to red thumb you too [}:)] .... but I resisted ![]()
seams fairly flat in sydney, does anyone if there are any waves up there? i know the place is a bit of a magnet...
Small swell - knee to waist high
Tide is on the way in with a high at 11.14am so could lift slightly
The beach faces due south so picks up any swell with south in it. It wont be big but it will be bigger than most places up this way.
Wind yet to kick in from the west... clear skies and the promise of things to come by all accounts though
Forcast tomorrow:S swell 2 – 3ft+ south facing coasts.WIND: W 25 to 35 knots easing to 20 to 30 knots. May be more waves than today? Had fun today apart from the sand blasting while rigging up.![]()
coastal watch are saying 6-8 ft and south so could be rather gnarly....maybe even bigger than today....
Woo Hoo - That was WINDY ![]()
Fingers crossed for Saturday.
Will be interesting to see what the ballistic winds do to the predicted swell
Hows birubi looking for sat up there thinking of coming up no wave sailing to be done down here in the gong ?
Re Foreshore drive, see my posting in the previous topic. It's great in W to SW winds but very unforgiving if the wind dies or shifts north. It's impossible to land except at the far north of the channel.
Sailed at La Perouse today and conditions were great, though up and down a fair bit. Don't think I'll go back to Foreshore.

Hi JP. I agree with MA, the swell will probably be too big. But for someone raised dodging the dumpers and tanktraps of the other end of that long beach, you might enjoy it ![]()
sundays forecast looks good at the moment. If the swell is out of control at birubi I will sail at Corlett, tide running against the wind most of the day should be good for jumps.
