Hi, I am a bit sick of sailing local in lake Narrabeen (so short and gusty).

I am thinking of finally taking the wave gear out there in the big ocean.
Do you think tomorrow (Friday 8th) from 2pm could be good at Long Reef (North Dee Why) ?
Thanks.

if your worried, wanda is often plenty windy enough and is quite smooth on the inside, so you can get out thru the waves.

good luck

it's the usual northern beaches 10-15 knots & botany & southside 20+ NE. surf is small at the moment & wanda looked good yesterday. should be a few there this arvo and a few more tomorrow.

you can go to fisherman's (collaroy) with the kiters or off vacant lot, pretty safe also.

Time: This Sunday around 11AM.
Location: Long Reef

PS: This is all based on the Seabreeze forecast being correct

Thanks guys, went to Collaroy and Long reef from 2 to 3 pm and it was as usual, very light. The swell would have been perfect for me (small), but then went back to N lake for a sail with the big gear (130 l and 7m2) and it was fun. Turned out to be much stronger later around 4 to 5. Not sure if there is a funnelling effect with the valley behind the lake but it was a nice decent wind.
Will try again.
