Just got back from a few weeks holiday only to find the garage door forced open and a lot of contents missing the only windsurfing gear stolen was 2 near new condition ezzy wave panthers 5m (GREEN) and 5.5m (ORANGE) I don't know what the market for stolen windsurfing gear is like ( I wouldn't think there would be much of a demand) but if anyone is approached for cheap ezzy sails could you let me know. Thanks for any information.
sorry to hear Phil, I hope you had a good time on your hols , also sorry you missed the westerlies while you were away, as you have noticed the gustbusters are ahead on the point score cya on the water![]()

Bad news! hope the sails turn up
That sucks Phil! You would think you'd be pretty safe all the way up that mountain. I'm guessing locals would be the only ones that would even know you're up there. Maybe ask some questions around town (Pub, Beach). Who knows, you could get lucky. Kiama's not a big town. Let me know if you need that 5m back that you gave me.
Thanks everyone I will be replacing the sails soon and I was trying to clean the garage out anyway. I think the sails were only taken as well because of the nice bright orange bags they were in otherwise if they were real windsurfing people they would have taken the masts etc as well. Thanks anyway Stu for the offer.
If you can be bothered reporting the theft to Police it's worth it if they end up advertised for sale - gumtree etc.
Ideally supply them with photos or even a print out from Ezzy website will suffice. There was a theft of windsurf
gear in WA thread, last year I think.
Anyway, the cops tracked the gear down and nicked the bloke!
Don't know whether this will help but take pics on your phone or digital camera of the serial numbers of boards, sails and masts.
If it gets knocked off you have positive proof of what's yours.

I have made a report to police with items listed and have been checking gumtree, ebay etc but I don't really hold any hope I think the sails would be very noticeable if they were used anywhere around the Illawarra or south coast, other gear such as mig welder, tools and fishing gear would be much easier to sell on. Will be installing security camera system so hopefully that will be deterrant.
