Aiming forWed if its still blowing . Mon was great wish I'd got there earlier - 4.2m on 78ltre board then 95 ltre - c 20 - 25kts gusting nearer 30kts at times ..SSW quite a few out. Nice to have company if I'd gone to the lake midweek I would have been the only one out.

There was three of us at valentine, i got there late so i was only
one out after 3.30. had 6.2 up, was up & down like normal in sw.
now to find some weed fins so i can head down canton way,
sounds like i could have used me new 5.7.

I'm enjoying winter sailing better than summer sailing since I have been going to Canton. Stuffed a gybe yesterday & fell in.. expecting deep water and forgot it was only knee to thigh deep much better in the middle of winter..
Mind you I sailed all the way into the shore at the end and forgot it was shallow , jumped off and fell on my knees under the sail ...Ouch..

Last summer was so bad for windsurfing. It was a good summer if you like cool damp weather with rain everyday.

This winter has been pretty good. I too have discovered how great Canton Beach is for safe windurfing in a southerly or westerly wind. Love it.
