Jason Juretic from NSWWA has organised an overnight windsurfing/SUP Scout camp at Kurnell (Botany Bay) on 16th – 17th Oct 2010 (12noon to 5pm on Sat and 10am to 3pm on Sun). At this stage he has 70 Venturer Scouts aged between 14.5 and 18 years old indicating they will be attending.
This is a significant opportunity for us to get youth into our fantastic sport.

Yourself as a qualified instructor
Yourself as a helper to teach kids to rig and make sure they don’t get blown to NZ on a SUP or windsurf board
A wide style beginners windsurf board and rig
A windsurf simulator
A SUP board and paddle you are willing to let the kids have a go on
Anything else that can help.
Let’s make this happen!

I'm not sure if the forecast is looking good for some SUP lessons - it could be a downwinder to La Perouse!
