looks like a 'summer' 20 knot NE Xmas day - Sydney area. Newie looks good for the 26th. I'm going to stay married so with family & work commitments I'll have to wait for the Tue southerly to bust in!

Christmas is usually a good day to go windsurfing but we are going somewhere this Christmas where the forecast is a bit crap.
It would be quite novel to have a warm sunny day with a bit of a breeze this summer.
Bring on the Southerlies early next week..pref with some sunshine although that's aiming a bit high..[}:)]
Oh & Santa I'd like a 111Futura , 7.5m sail , 2 weedfins...that will do for now..yeah right..
based on the long range swell forecast I think Tuesday / Wednesday will be pretty big on the Northern Beaches... coupled with the Southerly this should bring some good conditions for Newport and Makaha... albeit probably a bit gnarly given it will be in the 7 foot range.
For as long as I can remember Xmas day is always windy in Sydney.
Late sneaky sail?
Snuck out for a late sail on Lac Mac. Was joined by 4 men in grey suits. Two which I ran over and all were 6 foot +. These guys seem to be in same area everytime I go out but they don't bother me...... until I fall in next to one. Merry Christmas everyone.
