Ok, stormy weather is complicated, and sea breezes are fading, but all week till yesterday afternoon, we had green arrows for 3 days, and then not much at all. Just reds.
I had grabbed some screen of forecasts but lost them when I switched the computer off when the lightning was very close.
Anyone got a sail around Sydney ?

latest forecasts might be a little optimistic but the wind has not eventuated like Sat NE.

if you want to get more depressed, take a look at WA wind, 3-4 days a week over 20 knots.

today mind you Manly had the best surf I've seen for about a year.

I am disappointed as well
I was sailing in Rose bay this Saturday.
Weather forecast said wind is around 17-20, around F5, but actual wind is F2, which is <10... what is going on?
Being a progressive beginner, I just want 10-15 wind all the time..

Looking at next weekend forecast is even more depressing, 1 knot....

My memories of NEers in NSW is that they become very unreliable in the new year

sea breezes are dying but we should be getting some nice big westerlys down at lake illawarra :)

last sunday arvo (16 may) was a nice late westerly :) really kicked in around 4 pm

the lake has plenty of water and the weed is just starting to grow again.

Cant wait for the next one !
