Solid East Nor East up in Nelson Bay this arvo
Fully lit on a 5.4 and that's after being in a pretty good paddock over winter ;-)
Anyone else get out ???
Missed the last week but if anyone gets in the way of me getting out this week their mince meat![}:)]![]()
not enough north side but looked like there were a few at Wanda, 3ft swell.
Warrior,
off topic, in your opinion is WA wind better Dec or Jan or Feb? I have been to Gero twice - once Jan 2002 and wasn't windy until the day I left, due to a low pressure off the coast and another time a couple of years ago when it was pretty windy for a few days.
I realise that there are variables and you could get a week with 1 day 20+ then the next 3-4 days 20+, what do you reckon is the best month - on average. Is Gero less windy with the warmer days like 35 deg?
thanks
thanks seg,
I know WA gets the wind but can be long flat spells as you said. Dare I say less wind is probably better - for Gero at least - as it gets so strong. You have to hope the week you pick has some swell forecast AND wind AND you are on hol's etc.
Not a bad nor easter at coal point swinging around alot , never really lit up on a 7.7
still clocked up 70 ks , so a good afternoon on the water in boardies !!!!!
