It looks like the NE'rs are starting for the season with Sat to Monday showing NE green arrows. Fingers crossed for the start of stellar season after a crap*y winter!

think after these past 7 weeks of nothing !! if you are a father u will be excused or just have a day at the beach ![]()
It is not my fatherhood that is the problem... it is the other 2 fathers in my life!! Mentioned it to my wife, and was met with a spoken response that said I could go sailing.... along with a tone and look on her face that said "but you will regret it for some time!!" ![]()
vosa,
treat yourself to some 'quality' time on the water.
my logic is I could be golfing for 5-6 hours & since I don't play then 2-3 hours of windsurfing is a bargain!
when i was asked what i wanted for fathers day . i said 20 kts and half mast , my kids must have some pull . ok so it wont be big but hopefully a wave big enough to break the drought .
Late start to the season guys....My season kicked off at Gerroa last weekend with nor'easters Saturday and Sunday, fully plaining on Saturday and just enough to get out through the break on Sunday. Not big surf and didn't hold in all day but it was a whole lot of fun and a good start to the season. Looking forward to this weekend though, should be nicely powered up![]()
JH,
Maybe you could post a Gerroa surf report....Ok, maybe not, just ask Stehsegler from last summer.
Feel free to report any big NE we miss in Sydney though!
I am driving down there shortly... I am hoping to get up a quick condition update with photo online tomorrow morning.
Based on last years experience though and from what qwerty says tomorrow might actually be better in the Gong...
Well, wind direction is right. Not much wind at the moment. Swell is there... Probably about chest high but that could change quickly with the tide.
Steh,
At least you're in Gerroa. It's only still cool in Sydney so maybe 15 knots later in the right spot. Tomorrow is looking a little better for wind, although perhaps more NNE however the swell will swing more E.
At least daylight saving is not far off so you can sail until dark.
