For the more competitive sailors - come and race to win. Perhaps an opportunity for GPS Speed Challengers to come along and be fastest around the course.

Clontarf may be a better option, except for sailing/paddling back after BBQ & beers

What about a GPS Challenge within the race.....

Mauraders vs Cockroaches vs Demerits vs Illawarra vs Lake Macquarie

Are you & your gang up for the challenge Milsy?

hey,,, im not sure if any other maurders are coming, im assumming there will be no wind, and am just coming down for a social putt putt race, its great fun to sail in middle harbour,........................ha, i think it works in a nw and se, in a se, its bumpy but you get a sweet gybe bank on the clontarff side, i know people launch formula there a lot and sail up to manly, thats good fun, gets bumpy, yep, its a beautiful little spot, with those massive waterfront properties, great big boats, its got a nice feel to it when your out there, ha, im looking forward to the event and sailing around there again,,,,,,,,id be happy to put my massive ego on the line for a gps challenge......oh, how shameful as a maurder it would be to lose to some of you!!!!!

The course will be decided on the day depending on wind direction and strength but in all likelihood a "Le Mans" beach start and finish on the beach again, provided the conditions allow it. On the Mosman side there is free parking along the road going up the hill - Parriwi Road. Stop at the Club and throw your gear on the grass and then park your car. There will be people there looking after gear so is should be safe.

Sailing across from clontarf is also an option.

Hi all I got my old Cobra race board out from under the house and the sail is shot
Any one have a half decent 7 metre plus sail they want to sell cheap so i can get this weapon going again, I have know idea about new race sails with cambers etc so any advice would be good. I have a very stiff carbon mast that i will use.

Just for a bit of fun

Aloha

The forecast is looking tasty for sunday, could be some fast fun races. Dust of that Cobra and find yourself a good sail and go for gold!

I have a 7.5 Aerotech you can have for free. It's worn out and taped, but still good to use. Not sure if I will come to the race though, if you want to pick it up I live in Guildford, in case bring your mast and I'll show you how to rig the cams

Hi guys, this sounds like a good chance to get together on the North side for a day of fun and laughs. I'll do my best to get down there. Would be good to have some different divisions (including Formula) on Friday Nights through Summer with those strong NE'rs blowing. See you all there!

<div>Unfortunately, today's Winter Solstice Race (23rd of June) has been cancelled due to the wet, cold weather and forcast of thunderstorm.

<div>We will re-schedule the race to another date when we hope we will be able give you a more pleasant experience of windsurfing and BBQ-ing at the Middle Harbour 16ft Skiff Club.

We will post a new invite when we have decided on a new date.
