Hi Guys,

Heading to the coast over the next few days, just wondering where on the south coast from Batemans Bat to wollongong is decent in southerly, flat water and some wave stuff.

Windang for waves but it could be quite nasty (depending on swell). Lake Wollumboola (depending on depth?), Sanctuary Point (good B&J), Callala Bay (can be epic jumping) for flat(ish) water....If more southwest Lake Illawarra is ok.

^^^KEEF,I wouldn't bother driving out there to see. With the amount of rain we have had, with lots more on the way,the lake will be full and the road most likely flooded anyway.Forecast predicts rain all day tomorrow,so I don't like the odds of having a good session.

If there's west in the Southerly tomorrow, I'll be at Primbee with my 4.9 and weedy :)

ark it's too late, I had a look and took a video of the lake and callala and for the last 3hrs I've been trying to convert the file from quick time too windows media with no luck, assuming the rain backs off and the wind stays ssw to sw the lake will be supa flat , if its dead south it will be a bit lumpy , the lake takes a bit of sting off the wind so if it's 30 to 35nts at point perp it will be 25 to 30 on the lake , at the moment jase and tricky dicky will be there so lets hope the rain backs off

yeah was on 4.4m off the sailing club at dolls point. super gusty. sailed over to the other side... there were actually waves, swell must have been massive to be breaking that far in, a lot of fun for freestyle :)
