What did we do Laurie - no Sydney or NSW graphs today

AND we have green arrows predicted

Looks like BOM has bombed out, just for NSW

go look at the trees every half hour - if they move then go windsurfing.

I'm heading down with a full arsenal of gear to cover every wind strength, just in case! But I'm quietly confident.

At a guess it's currently about 12-17kts NE at Coogee with a few small whitecaps beginning to appear. I sacrificed myself by agreeing to go to the Randwick races today. Hope you appreciate my selfless deed...

Yes a very pleasant day on the bay. Quite a lot of windsurfers out too. I counted over forty windsurfers on the water during the afternoon, not including those on the beach.

Plenty of people out learning too.

The graphs are working again too!

I guess you are the one i saw on saturday and stopped by to see if you needed more help. As there were already two jet-ski helping you and attempting to drag you to the beach, i didn't have to help. It's worth mentioning, most of the jet-ski are actually nice people. Saturday all of them were quite reasonable from what i remember.

No, not me this time. Mine snapped on way out - so had other side still intact to get back in.
His was an old boom ready to snap, mine about 3 yrs old.

But there has been another occasion a couple of years back where a jet skier did give me a hand rescuing gear.
We do tend to lump them all in the one basket based on appearance - but a lot of them are decent water users

Is this the worst start to a season ever or what?
I thought last and the one before was bad but this tops them all.

you need to travel a bit more... while not stelar the South Coast has certainly delivered more than last season. Don't forget that just 2 hours South you can find flat water, bump and jump as well as waves with some very consistent Seabreezes.

When I still lived in Europe we would drive 400ks ever weekend just to get 3 hours of thermal winds on a lake. I have to pinch myself sometimes to remember how good we really have it here.

Yep I've got a friend who wants to get into shortboards & only weighs 57kgs .I was going to suggest a 90ltre but he tried my 125 and loved it so with this season maybe a 125 is the go.At least he'd get out for a sail![}:)]
