Solid 20 to 30 knots south easters and teeming rain
Seeing the world number one sheet in on an 11m and power away down wind in 30 knots is a sight to behold
Plenty of wind and plenty of rain to go with it.
Rain has been so heavy visibility has been down to 50metres on course and you can't even see across to Nelson Bay or even out to the heads most of the time.
Despite the heavy rain the wind has been blowing solid.
The downside has been the impact on visibility for filming and the fact H2O and video cameras don't play well together 
I just want to thank everyone who made my trip over so enjoyable. It is a great venue, great racing and great people. I will definitely try and get back next year.

Great to see someone over from WA. We know there are a ton of fast racers hiding over there somewhere and it would be great to see them on the race course again..maybe you can help get the word around about what we have to offer and what they are missing out on?
