What to expect tommorrow

So tommorrow In Coffs looks like it could be anything.This site says somewhere around 10 knots but maybe decreasing however BOM has gone for broke and said up to 30 knots.
How can two different sites looking at the same charts make 2 completely different predictions.

I think the BOM got in a lot of sh!t once upon a time as they didn't predict strong winds for a sailing race and then strong winds come through.

So as a result they over estimate predicted winds.

I think the best way to predict wind is to use different sources then use the synoptic charts. Build up your own knowledge base for the sailing spots around where you live and you should be right.

The marine wind forcast on the bom site is pretty good to see what the winds will be doing

its usually fairly accurate within the 2 days
