Sailed from 1:30 to 4 from the Foreshore Drive beach mentioned in a previous topic. Was on a 6.3/95l.Didn't see any other sailors in the area. Wasn't really enough wind in the channel between the runway and the port, except at the south end. Best wind seemed to be south of the runways. Coming in, a small boat seemed to be picking up the line of floats that extend southwards from the boat launch on the east side.

I'm new to the area and am wondering if the small tides there have any significant effect on the waves? It was ebbing this afternoon, but only a 0.6m tide.

5.6 powered up out back @ Kurnell from around 2:30, there was a wind shadow on the beach for about 200m. Think La Per may have been better???
