Hello Guys, I'm sure you have noticed the wind forecasted for Wednesday.

I was wondering whether anyone is going early in the morning for a sail in Kurnell?

Hope not to be alone in this condition

Hi Buzuc & Craig,

Sunrise is at 5.52am but to be honest, I'm not sure I will make it that early (man, you are committed).

I don't have to work on Wednesday and could be there at 8am and hang around till 3pm.

Crazy westerners with 28 knots from 7am onwards, this is going to be so wicked

Cheers,
Martin

If it's really 28knots I will be overpowered with my 6.2 !

Will it be possible to borrow a smaller sail from someone ?
I think I will be there around 6.30 till 8.30

Do you guys realise what happens when you talk up decent wind???
You will piss off Huey and the green arrows will turn to red

If you say nothing from now until Wednesday we might get something stronger than 10 knots.
Same for the weekend, ssshhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

Ok, now that we can't call "it" by the name, what can we call "it" so everyone knows what we are talking about?

I think BOM just jinxed it... they released a press statement warning of severe weather for tomorrow morning with wind gust in excess off 100 km/h for the Sydney area.

Hm... late August 2003 comes to mind... the Kurnell wind meter died at 135km/h that day...

... now were did I put that 3.5 sqm sail again?

So where do we go; Kurnell or LaPa? ............or shouldn't we go at all?

Seabreeze forecast is not too bad and a 4.7m should suit the condition, I hope...but I will also take my 4.1m after cleaning the cobwebs off.

I know most people have to work tomorrow but hey, check seabreeze during the day and think about few lucky guys having a good time

i'm heading out at either Palm Beach or Narrabeen lake around 1 today depending on the direction. W or WSW for the lake, anything else i'll be at Palm beach.

I'm on the carpark in Kurnell and the only thing I can see is the fog.
It's blowing 35 with gust at 42 so definitely too strong for my 6.2
maybe I will try later in the afternoon

This is something you don't have every day

We have few hundred meters vision but like you said, it is very orange. Reminds me of the movie "Total Recall" with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Driving along Mona Vale Rd this morning was interesting to say the least.
Big gusts from the NW and orange dust everywhere!!!!!
Saw 3 prangs from Collaroy to St Ives, very strange.
I reckon Seano has it right for the north side, Palmy or Lake Dangerous.
Hopefully get out this arvo if I can find a small sail[}:)]
