Hi All

We are planning a sailing holiday and are after good places to speed sail starting from the top of the NSW down to Sydney.

We plan on coming down the coast road (is there any other way??) mid to late February.

Any locations and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Lots of thanks in advance

Ballina (river) in a NE.

Great lakes area, south of Foster. Wallis lake in most directions although you may need a weed fin. Smiths lake in a NE, where 'frothy coffee' shop used to be. That's going back to the 80's!

Hawks Nest in a NE on 'winda woppa' side. offshore and it blasts in a good NE.

It is Crown land....pretty sure no camping.
But caravan park just adjacent is right next to N/E launch spot - Whiting Beach

Hmm ok then Calypso Caravan Park it might have to be then I do hope its windy. The last trip we went on down to Victoria, it didn't blow the whole time we were there.
I will cross my fingers and everything else for this trip

My b/f needs to at least get a couple of days in somewhere and then have a back up plan just in case
