Just wondering if anyone in the Wollongong area had an old windsurfer one design (or similar) they wanted to part with? Have a couple of mates keen for some lessons but i don't have any gear suitable for beginners. Not looking to spend to much but I'd be happy to pay a small fee and assist a fellow sailor to free up some valuable shed space
Actually we do... UNSW Windsurfing Club still has a couple (depends on how many we thrown away) of them... At least we have the board.... You can adapt a normal join (removing the bolt) on it. However, we are in Sydney....
In order to move such a huge mass to wollongong, you might have to rent a truck....
PM me if interested... (however, this would not be my best choice for a begginer board. You can find EVA deck wide board for $300 these days if you are patient enough......
