Heard on the radio its going to be "windy" friday, I thought to my self they must be talking out of their ass. At the moment northwest of sydney its blowing at least 20kts but check seabreeze...nothing.
They dont even look out of the window when they read the forecast..[}:)]
the definition of what the general population considers as windy is never inline with what we think is windy. Learned that one many years ago. When it's blowing 30 knts most non wind addicts talk about a "storm".
...or you're packing up, kinda disappointed because you just spent an hour trolling around in 10 knots and it never picked up, 
and a passer-by says "oh, it's a nice windy day for sailing today!"
