Hey Wavesailors,
Hope you have been scoring some wind and waves over the past few weeks.
We're on for the 1st Sydney Wavesailing Event for 2025 at North Wanda Beach next weekend - Sat 8 to Sun 9 November 2025. Sign up and have a crack , or just come for freesailing, get some coaching from top riders, and enjoy the laid back vibe with like minded sailors. Expect BBQ to kick things off, cold drinks at end of the day, and plenty of stoke.
Plan of attack:
Saturday 8 Nov 11.00
- Free BBQ at Greenhills Beach Northern end of Carpark for entrants 12:00
- Event briefing and likely immediate start. We'll roll wavesailing coaching and crack into heats if conditions line up.
- BBQ/drinks at Michael Preswick's place and a possible quick preso (TBA)
Sunday 9 Nov 11:00
- Rego and start TBC
- Once finals wrap, we'll run a super expression session: prizes for Best Lip Smack, Best Jump, and Best Wipeout ~16:00
- Latest time for the preso, then everyone heads home knackered and grinning Event basics

Hi NSWWSA, please put me down for Wanda on the weekend. I had problems with the Event registration link (seems to connect to the Gerroa youth camp), but could be just my online ineptitude 
I'm targeting the best wipeout category after last year's effort.
Just looking at Wanda cam. Sailors must be here early. Haven't seen that many sailboarders there since the glory days when I would be flying along on a Ken Dures PU board with a 5.2 Pryde wave sail.
