Sorry, I am sure this question has been asked a million times before.... tomorrow forecast is looking 25-35 knots WNW. I work at the container terminals in Botany Bay, so want to sneak out from work for a sail. If I launch from the dodgy bushes on Foreshore Dr, will this work in WNW? If not where is the ideal spot on the bay in this direction?

Hmmm....10 guys out, fully powered on 4.2 & 4.7's....gusts to 40knt
Not this little black duck...sail & board too big + lack of fitness & ability
You should have stuck around, as those big gusts didn't last very long. Was great being fully powered in the big gusts, but not so great when they dropped to next to nothing.
Looks like its building again today, so should be another good arvo. I think I will definately rig bigger today....
Hey fellas. last night at Foreshore Rd was good! I got a quick one hour session in before the lights went out. Well powered with my old NS Quattro 6.4, enough wind to get my hefty behind and big bertha board through the lulls. Might even try again this avo if the day permits.
