Just need to add the word/s 'Top' at the start and 'n to the **** and laugh it off!
Had an awesome sail there yesterday with a blast over to Kurnell. Good to sail over with Mike and Paul? (or Troy) on the ol JP FSW 91. Merry Christmas.

To be really fair I've seen a few windsurfers jibing or landing at high speed a bit too close to the beach, which is a place that has to be shared with fishermen, children and families. I think the speed limit of 8 knots would also apply to sailboards...
As far as the writing, he is lucky to live in a country where they wouldn't arrest him and bash him up for less than that...but if he doesn't like australia can always emigrate.

My view is that signs like that are probably best left not photographed and subsequently not broadcast. I think we are all aware, through the many and varied Seabreeze forums, of the perceived hostility that can exist down there. (Although some what exaggerated from time to time, in my view) A simple smile and gidday does seem to go a long way in defusing any potential agro on shore. On the water, some common sense and staying out of the way of fast moving motor craft can also play an effective role in avoiding unseemly confrontation? Besides it's the holidays!

The solution to the sydney problem is to move to lake macquarie there are a number of great suburbs around the lake if you sell your sydney house you can get a much better house up here mabey even a waterfront a great place to bring up the kids a lot of my neibours are from down there and would never go back

Baz, you've got it all wrong. The Lake is a crap place to sail. No wind, nowhere to launch and no night life. The Sydney guys would be bored senseless.
If I were them I'd stay where they are.
Of course if any of them wanted to come up here and set up a windsurfing shop then that might be different.

Absolutely. All the scary looking fellas I've gotten to know are really quite nice if you are too. They just gesticulate and talk a bit louder than "us".

I actually had my sail tied up to that pole today (thank Moby) and didn't bother me in the slightest. Shrug. Meh. I certainly didn't feel like ransacking an embassy.

Thought I might add on the other side: "I do, and we leave the lights on".

...some of those slightly westernised ladies, er, the ones I could see, are, er, um ...pretty damn beautiful. just a BTW.

Happy New Year!

Hey AUS4, came across this recently. The locals at Kyeemagh have got nothing! Look at what they get up to up north. They have their signs professionally printed & everything!

Though for some reason I think the situation isn't quite the same. I don't think the Kyeemagh "signage" was issued by Brighton Rangers... But I could be wrong.

Being relatively new to Sydney, what nationality would have written that?

probably NZ, OR england, they've always been bull**** jealous of the magnificent people Australia produces, hehe, i once got into a bit of **** at bot, i told these teenages, who were emptying the public otto bins on the ground, i told em, hey, put the rubbish back in the bin, pfffffff, that resulted in them going home and coming back with three bull**** ugly and mildly retarded giants to kick my arse, ha, but its a sweet place to sail, lovely sorta scenery and vibe, enjoy

Another post nearby has similar writing on it saying something like Lebs rule.

If they rule why isn't it written in Arabic?

Anyway usually when you speak to people who visit the beach they are pretty cool. They are going to the beach for a bit of relaxation. On NYE I chatted to a couple who were smoking out of a water pipe. It looked like a fancy bong. Anyway it turned out they were smoking tobacco mixed with apple. It smelt quite good.

I find its the teenage boys cause most of the issues at Kyeemagh, one of them is probably the graffitist but teenage boys of any background can cause problems.
