looks great, what's happening to their feet ?
any shells or sharks there? or just for the tourists...
Younger sailors would find it difficult to imagine how crowded Palm Beach was in the early 80s, to the early 90s. Those days never to be seen again...
Hard to imagine that I actually enjoyed sailing there. But it was better than Balmoral.
What with the seaplane, stinkboats, low tide and all.Luckily I found Kyeemah otherwise I probably would have given windsurfing away.
Its still a nice place to windsurf. Of course if you time it wrong and go there on a low tide then you have to wade through the yucky weed and mud. Of course if you go there on a sunny weekend its difficult to find a park. Its a hassle driving out there. You have to pay for parking unless you live in the Pittwater council area.
However its a brillant place to sail on a NW wind and on most other wind directions too. Its visually spectacular. The water is clear. People are friendly, pleasant and generally civilized there, which isn't something you can say about Kyeemagh.
