Its looking pretty wet . I was thinking maybe tomorrow would be less rain? + hopefully still wind.Just not much fun if you can't see + the wind might be up & down with the rain..Give me a pm if its ok & your keen this afternoon but I'd have to get going soon as it will take me over an hour before I'm on the water.
Sue, would "The Slips" give a similar wind strength as north side of coal point? And a bit flatter? Lots of wind showing online at Nobbys but lake at Marmong was dead flat and windless this morning. weird wind direction.
tomorrow looks at least a bit sunnier!
Too inconcistant today sometimes 25 knotts then long stretches of nothing will probably be working tomorrow sat is looking good for marmong
Glad I didn't bother going down.I've been caught out before driving all the way down when the graphs look good and then it's either nothing or up & down like a yo yo when the rain comes through.Ok if you live on the waterfront & can rig your gear and wait for the right moment but no good for a quick visit.
I'll aim for tomorrow & hope it settles down.
I like the angle at Toronto as its a bit onshore if anything goes wrong although the slip might have got a bit more wind.Nth side of Coal Pt also can have great jumping angles in a SE.
So anyone going out let me know..prob be middle of the dayish..
Tomorrows the only day I can go.Going away at the weekend.
