Does anyone know what height the tide needs to be to expose the sand bank? Will any old low tide do it, or does it need to be low-low? Next sunday the low tide is 0.55m - will the sand bank still be covered?

Probably anything lower than 0.7m will do it. Ive seen pretty average low tides and the bank has been exposed for more than an hour or so.

St Georges Sailing Club down at the south end of Botany Bay. Only works in a SSW and low tide. Its about 200m long and the closest thing to a speed strip Sydney has.
