Anyone sailed just inside Swansea Heads around Salts Bay on the shallows, seems to get a lot of Kiters but don't see many windsurfers there, seems to be good in the afternoon NE seabreezes.

Short runs but nice and clean and fairly smooth.

Anyone sail up that way.

I've sailed there in SE at the breakwall but I think most of the wave sailors go south to Soldiers/Pelican or
Birdie or north to Nobby's in NE. Central Coast is generally known to get better NE than Newie proper.

All the flatwater sailors go to Lake Mac or Budgewoi is popular from what I've read on the posts.

I have sailed alot there in the 90's and early 2000's great fun
Backside wave riding and good jumps on the bar and flat area for gybing.
Here is one photo I will post more photo's after work!

Looking at heading there of an afternoon after work in the NE's, just in the flat area around Salts Bay area. Seems to get a lot of kiters in this area.
I use to sail here years ago myself just in the flat water area not the surf.
Just started up again after 10 years, had first sail at Canton on Wednesday and Thursday, hooked again. cant wait to get back out.
