Nice picys Andrew you must have got there after I left, which was just before the 1st storm about 2.30 pm. Did not want to risk possible lightening strikes.

When I rigged at midday there was 1 windsurfer and 1 kiter going OK, but by the time I got out it was just about gone, still I had a sail at least. The Toukley Sailing Club tried to have a race in their catamarans at 2 pm but they even gave up.

Glad you sailed at Canton.

What is the best bet for tomorrow Peel street in the morning or canton in the afternoon?

Depends on wind direction, ssw or sw go Canton or Buff Pt. Wsw or W go Peel St. I will wait & see what happens with the wind.

Need Deltas for Peely & Buffy but not for Canton.

It was a bit on and off. Hit it at 4.45pm and had just enough gas to get up to the point and back. Such a nice long smooth run too. Wind died, then came alive a bit from the NW, so got a dozen or so short tacks in on a different course just as it got dark (had turned off the GPS though). My first sail there and loved it!

Planning to hit it tomorrow mid morning...
