Just for future reference, went to wangi a couple of weeks ago, was some ok wind (sth to sth east i think) but was unsure of launch spot. was in front of caravan park out towards the point were people were fishing off, just to left of point. Did not have my booties with me and wasnt game to go in due to rocks and old oyster shells everywhere, also would have been tricky to get back in if i had have lost ground.... maybe i had the wrong spot??
The end of the point on the left where the pebble beach meets the rock. works best SE NE NW I have never worn booties sailing There have been 2 raceboard nationals and 2 state slalom heats held there if you stay at the caravan park you dont even have to unrig
