Come on down to the Georges River Sailing Club next Saturday (14th of September) for the first of our weekly club racing events. We'll run alongside the Lasers with our own start no later than 2pm & it'll run virtually every Saturday through to next April. Formula is the priority but if it really blows, we'll switch to Slalom.
Registration from 12pm and new comers of any ability more than welcome, so sign up and join in. All the details at www.stormriderswindsurfingclub.com/notice-board.html

It's on again this Saturday folks, so hope to see you all down there. We have a 1.45pm start if the wind plays ball and if the forecast is anything to go by, we'll have heaps of wind to play with![]()
Congratulations to David Howe, the inaugural winner of yesterdays(Saturday 21st Sept) Storm-riders/GRSC 'board devision' club racing.

The person really deserving of the congratulations here is Adam! It’s through Adam and the Committee’s hard work that Stormriders now has a ‘bricks and mortar’ club. AND it’s a fantastic setup: lawn rigging area with easy access to flat water. Did I mention the showers and changeroom?
The clubhouse has a huge upstairs area with panoramic water views, bar, restaurant and balcony – perfect for watching the racing… or whatever.
Regular racing is the best way to improve your sailing – just look at how well the Marmong guys have been doing. The turnout is already pretty good, so if you’re a Stormrider and haven’t been to The George’s River 16 Foot Skiff Club, get yourself down there this Saturday!! First start is at 1:45pm.
Also, if you’re a windsurfer curious about the ‘funny wide boards’ or racing, now’s a great time to give it a try.
It's on again this Saturday folks, so dust off the old formula race gear, come on down & get some practice in for the start of the Windsurfing NSW Formula & Slalom Series which kicks of in Hawks Nest the following wk end, Oct 5-6th.
And on that note you can now pay for the Series vie the NSW Tour site tour.windsurfingnsw.com/join/
We're on again this Saturday for club racing on the Bay, with a predicted NEster building to help kick along proceedings through the afternoon
The GRSC Laser guys are very much looking forward to seeing us 'boards' race in numbers this wk end. They've been briefed on setting a longer start line for us, with registration and sign on from 12pm
New comers of any ability welcome, so come on down, get their early for your car spot, sign up and join in!
