With the next few days of South South West wind where is a good easy place to sail in Sydney? Im Northern Beaches and often sail Narrabeen lake because its local quick (Im time poor with small kids) and easy. I know its generally pretty up and down and gusty, but yesterday it was un sailable 30Knots one minute from south east then nothing then 15 knots from south west as it flicked over Collaroy plateau.

Narra lake isn't too good in a southerly - too gusty. If you're up north Palmy (Pittwater) is pretty good SSW and southerly,
up at Sandy Point off Iluka Rd or north Palmy carpark which is all metered but with your NB sticker should be free.

If you're at Manly end the harbour good in SSW, ideal direction is south as more direct. Had a late sail yesterday in the
harbour after work , it was strong, gusting over 25 easy, used my wave board and 5m, you just have to avoid the Manly
ferry, the fast ferries tend to give you more room.

Wind is good now and potentially good tomorrow also.

Where do you launch from Tomp when sailing at Manly?
