Hey guys
5 scouts (4 of who started windsurfing on 16 Oct 2010) are doing a 2 night/2 day expedition alone (no adults or support boats) on Lake MacQuairie today and tomorrow. Today they are windsurfing (in very little wind) from Belmont Pines north and then south to camp at Nords Wharf with the plan of putting 6 - 8 hrs on the water.
This is a pic of one of them during a practise at Brighton Kyeemagh a few weeks ago.

Sounds like a great adventure. I did sea scouts, and we never got that type of opportunity. Goodluck to them.
cheers guys the expedition went well and they covered 35km in varying conditions from 0 knots to 19 knots. They said they had an absolute ball but were knackered. Some other pics from the expedition are below
